Students will engage in a process of dialect study for each dialect studied in the course.
International Phonetic Alphabet and Dialect Study
Students will identify and articulate key characteristics of the International Phonetic Alphabet and differentiate key changes in the International Phonetic Alphabet pertaining to each dialect studied.
Students will integrate dialect, voice, and performance skills.
Evaluation and Work Ethic
Students will peer-evaluate acting and dialect skills, self-evaluate individual progress and performance, apply professional work habits of dependability, promptness, cooperation, preparation, and the ability to make independent choices.
