Historical Knowledge of Japan from the early 19th century to the present
Students will be able to explain and analyze the major political, economic, social, and cultural developments in Japanese history from the early 19th century to the present.
Research Literature
Students will be able to analyze and interpret primary source documents.

Students will be able to interpret and discuss the meanings and historical and historiographical value of primary and secondary source texts.
