Course Outcomes:
Historical Knowledge of 19th C Europe
Students will understand and be able to explain and analyze the international affairs and the political, intellectual, social, and economic history of Europe from 1789-1914
Research Literature
Students will understand how to use and will be able to analyze and interpret primary source documents.
Critical Analysis
Students will be able to review, critique, and evaluate historiographical works from a variety of European nations, as well as analyze historical questions and place them in a historiographical context.
Effective Communication
Students will be able to analyze, interpret, and debate with their peers in a classroom setting the meanings and historical value of theory, art, media, and primary source texts.
