Learning Outcome
Students will be able to analyze and discuss such features of the culture as language, literature, thought, religion, aesthetics, art, and music. The student portfolio will be reviewed at the conclusion of this course.

Analyze and discuss the structure of the Japanese language
Learning Outcome
Students will demonstrate an ability to analyze and discuss aspects of the language, such as phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics. The student portfolio will be reviewed at the conclusion of this course.
