Title

Concepts of Quantum Mechanics

Learning Outcome

Understand the mechanics of operators, eigenstates and eigenvalues. Learn how to build wave functions, estimate expectation values and standard deviations, and apply the Heisenberg uncertainty principle.

Title

Mathematical Techniques

Learning Outcome

Manipulate the Schrödinger equation to solve for wave functions.

Title

Solutions for Standard Potentials

Learning Outcome

Develop free-particle and bound-state solutions to the Schrödinger equation. (In particular, harmonic oscillator, infinite and finite square-well, finite barrier potentials…).

Title

Hydrogen

Learning Outcome

Construct simple solutions for Hydrogen atom, angular momentum and spin systems, atoms and solids.
