Learning Outcome

Read Sinographs in Context:  Students will develop the ability to recognize and read Sinographs (Chinese characters) in context. Navigate Through Reference Works:  Students will learn to navigate through several kinds of reference works and other Korean language resources. Read College-level Texts and Essays:  Students will develop skills in reading college-level texts and scholarly essays in Korean. Translate into English with Fidelity:  Students will learn to translate in a way that both maintains fidelity to the original text and results in natural, quality English in the final revision.
