Course Description

This course serves as a primer to a creative career in photography and lens-based media. Students will have the opportunity to learn essential business practices from active professionals representing a variety of fields—ranging from commercial to fine-art, and in-house to freelance.

Students will be able to define their intended career focus and will create a plan to pursue a relevant internship prior to graduation.

Students will acquire knowledge of common business practices in a variety of careers through presentations from industry professionals and in-class discussions.
