Essentials of Calculus

Course Description

Review of algebra, graph of line, slope. Limits and derivatives (standard functions, compositions of such functions), derivative for polynomials, exponentials, logarithms. Product, quotient and chain rule. Optimization (extrema), application to business problems. Newton's method.
