Extremophiles: Life in Extreme Environments

Course Description

A field trip-based investigation of microbial life in extreme environments. Field trips to Yellowstone National Park, Great Salt Lake, and to a water treatment plant will investigate thermophiles, halophiles, and methanogens, respectively.
