Modern software development techniques for civil and environmental engineering. Topics include: design and development of component-based software for desktop and web-based applications; data structures and algorithms for modeling, analysis, and visualization; basic problem-solving techniques; web services; and the management and maintenance of software using code versioning systems. Application areas are focused on civil and environmental engineering problems.
