Course Description

Theory and application of environmental sampling methods that are used to evaluate chemical, physical, and biological exposures outside the workplace. Major topics will include sampling of particulate matter and gaseous pollutants in ambient air, indoor environmental quality, and radiation exposures; interpretation of sampling results; identification of appropriate control strategies to prevent hazardous exposures; and exposure assessment communication.
