Course Description

Close examination of core genetic principles as presented in both classic and current literature with the goal of understanding current uses of genetics to examine gene function. Emphasis given to the experimental basis of transmission genetics (transfer of information between generations) as presented in classic studies and contemporary uses of genetic analysis to define gene function in current literature.
