Safe lab practices
Learning Outcome
Students will understand and apply safe, prototyping lab practices as you train on the safe use of tools and machines, such as: files, chisels, handsaws, hand drills, the drill press, the band saw, table saw, and wood & metal miter saws, lathes, grinders, and the thermoformer.

Students will practice and analyze material additive and subtractive processes to become familiar with common prototyping materials and assembly processes.

Students will understand, and apply typical prototyping procedures, including: woodworking, 3D printing, vacuum forming, sheet metal bending, laser cutting, CNC milling, casting, molding, painting, surface finishing, gluing, fastening
