Course Description

Field Biology is an introduction to the methods of outdoor field research and curation of natural history specimens. Students will learn basic methods of fieldwork. Topics include an introduction to common plant and animal species and communities of Utah, documentation of field notes, and specimen collection and curation. Instruction will be primarily through extended field trips.
