Course Description
The world needs better visualizations of its data. Most organizations are drowning in information but lacking in wisdom and analysis. Designers are uniquely positioned to think visually about research problems and creatively create visualizations that accurately enlighten ideas and concepts.
In this course, students will develop research strategies, master laws of optical hierarchy, deepen their understanding of gestalt principles as applied to data, and demonstrate creative visual concepts necessary to create compelling and memorable data visualizations.
