Course Outcomes:
Describe geographic regions
Describe the principal geographic regions, that might include topological features, important cities, etc.
Analyze historical periods
Describe and analyze historical periods and current events (e.g., political, social, artistic, and religious developments).
Describe cultural products, institutions, and practices
Recognize and describe important cultural products (e.g., art, literature, architecture, and music, including important works and individuals), cultural institutions, and cultural practices.
Discuss influence of own culture
By comparison, recognize and discuss the influence of their own cultural background on their attitudes, beliefs, and worldview.
Conduct research
Engage in research that demonstrate an advanced awareness of cultural and historical knowledge.
