Course Outcomes:
Tissue Structures
Students will demonstrate an understanding of the basic microscopic underpinnings of tissues and will relate tissue organization to the structure and function of human organs.
Appreciating the Human Body
Students will demonstrate a greater understanding and appreciation for the human body, its overall design and connections to other living organisms, and what a marvelous creation it is.
Organs and Organ Systems
Students will be able to name, locate, and describe the detailed structure of the major organs and organ systems in the human body. Students will also be able to discuss the functions and basic physiology of each system.
