Learning Outcome

Upon completion of this course, participants will have acquired the skills necessary to: 1. Analyze and discuss the fundamental elements of Hebrew grammar. 2. Read and translate elemental biblical historical narrative texts with limited use of a lexicon. 3. Analyze and parse the verbal system: pa'al, niphal, piel, pual, hiphil, hophal, hithpael. 4. Define approximately 400 vocabulary words from the Hebrew Bible.
