Course Description

Innovative approaches to unit planning; teaching of interpretive reading and listening skills; teaching of presentational writing skills; assessing language and culture learning; enhancing instruction with technology; adapting instruction for diverse learners; and becoming a professionally-engaged language educator. Second course in a two-semester sequence for Spanish Teaching majors and minors.

Other Prerequisites

Either (a) be accepted to the Spanish Teaching B.A. program, or (b) have declared a minor in Spanish Teaching, with a teaching major in another subject area.

<p>Develop activities for supporting students throughout the writing process and helping them attend to issues such as the purpose for writing and the intended audience.</p>
