Students will be able to develop self-promotional and marketing pieces for gaining employment.

Students will be able to communicate effectively about their portfolio work orally and in writing.

Students will demonstrate effective critiques of the visual and conceptual merits of their own and others' capstone projects and portfolios.

Learning Outcome

Students will be able to research and articulate post-graduation strategy effectively, demonstrating a clear understanding of the graphic design industry and academy across the region and nation.

Create Comprehensive & Targeted Portfolios

Learning Outcome

Students will assemble a comprehensive portfolio demonstrating design solutions created during their BFA major experience. Work should demonstrate mastery of program-level Graphic Design BFA learning outcomes.  Students will also compile a targeted professional portfolio that aligns with their post-graduation strategic goals.

Plan & Complete Work Necessary for Final Portfolios

Learning Outcome

Students will plan and complete the work necessary to assemble their comprehensive and targeted portfolios.  Students will create individualized work plans to meet their post-graduation strategic goals by carefully assessing their overall portfolio needs, strengths, and weaknesses. This plan will include the work outlined in the other learning outcomes.
