Hung 201 or foreign residence experience

Note

For returned missionaries and others with extensive Hungarian language experience. Required course for obtaining language credit by examination (Hung 101, 102, 201, 211R). Culminating course for Languages of Learning requirement.

Acquire background knowledge of important achievements related to the target culture (historical figures and events, major literary and artistic movements, government and religious institutions, etc.). Discuss in the target language cultural practices related to major life events in the target culture (birth, marriage, death, etc.).
