Learning Outcome

In this course, you will learn how to complete a significant research project using appropriate methods of research, analysis, and a professional standard of writing. In doing so, you will draw heavily from your knowledge from previous courses.

You will do this by studying a specialized topic in Asian Studies under the guidance of a professor. Thus, you will deepen your familiarity with a sub-field within Asian Studies and Asian Studies more broadly.

You will also learn how to present your findings in a high-quality oral presentation, and how to give and receive appropriate feedback within a community of scholars.
