Course Description
Supervised, full-day experience to develop and demonstrate competence in teaching content in a foreign language in an approved public school setting. Observation is stressed initially, with responsibility for teaching increasing across the four-week experience.

Learning Outcome
Students who successfully complete this course will:
Successfully use formative assessment strategies for individual students to determine instructional level in the target language.
Determine comprehensible instructional input necessary for effective learning in a dual-immersion setting.
Successfully organize, plan, implement and evaluate a unit of instruction in their target language in a dual-immersion setting. The unit will align with the Utah State common core curriculum, provide accommodations or modification strategies required for individual students being instructed, and evaluate language and academic development.
