Analyze experimental data, draw conclusions and troubleshoot problems.  Design appropriate experiments given the results

Characterize bacteriophages using standard morphological, genomic and proteomic approaches.

Learning Outcome

Understand  and utilize scientific methods used to study and compare bacteriophages, including electron microscopy, DNA sequencing, DNA annotation, Genomic and proteomic comparison, mass spectrometry and phylogenetic techniques such as ANI, phylogenetic trees and dot plot analysis.
