Learning Outcome

Students will be able to create professional-quality digital paintings customized to the demands of an art director with a focus on animation industry design work.

Software and Painting Skills

Learning Outcome

Students will be able to use digital painting programs but learn principles of painting that can be applied regardless of software, including lighting and painting a scene when reference is unavailable, using rules of color and value composition to guide audience experience, and other applicable skills.
