Students identify an interesting problem in computer science and solve it with the aid of faculty members.

If taken for less than 3 credits this course may not count as a CS elective. See approval form on the CS Department web site at https://cs.byu.edu/. Project proposals must be submitted by the last day of class of the prior semester or term. Students are allowed 1 repeat of each CS undergraduate course (all 100-, 200-, 300- or 400-level courses). This includes all students who received any grade including those who withdraw (receive a "W" grade) from a CS course. Students must wait 1 semester/term before being allowed to take a course they have failed twice.
