Course Description

Intensive development of oral and literacy skills at the Intermediate High to Advanced Low level, with emphasis on improving grammatical accuracy, fluency, and cultural competence. Intended to prepare students for Port 321 and subsequent courses.

Write short compositions and a research paper with sufficient grammatical accuracy to meet academic needs in higher-level courses.

Learning Outcome

Analyze and interpret a selection of oral and written texts from Portuguese-speaking countries, including films, short stories, and journalistic articles, within their historical and cultural context.
