Course Description

A healthy, modern infrastructure provides the foundation for a strong economy, high quality of life, and alleviation of poverty. In this course, students are introduced to how infrastructure is designed and maintained in consideration ofeconomic, social and environmental impacts, sustainability, and how infrastructure is integrated with the civil engineering and construction disciplines. Includes basic financial theory in the contextof long-term funding of infrastructure projects.
