Visual Communication in Public Relations

Course Description

This class is designed to teach students how to effectively tell stories through media graphics, photos and videos. As students embrace the creative process and learn to think (and see the world around them) in terms of space, line, shape, form, size, color, texture, value, camera framing and video sequencing, they will become a more effective communicator, with the ability to create their own visual communication pieces from scratch (i.e., no templates) and/or give valuable feedback to others who are creating content.

Experience with video and photo composition is recommended. Exposure to and experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Premier is desired
