Course Description

Understanding how geographic locations influence health outcomes. Learning to identify geographic patterns of health and disease as a tool to improve overall understanding of disease etiology and development of effective prevention and control strategies. The course utilizes geographic information systems (GIS) to meet these goals. No prior experience with the software is required.
