JavaScript History, Ecosystem, and Limitations

Learning Outcome

Students will know the origins and milestones in the development of JavaScript, the current status of its support, and its major libraries and frameworks. Students will also identify situations in which JavaScript would be a poor choice of tool.

Students will master the syntax and basic built-in objects and methods of JavaScript and understand the same for several JS frameworks and libraries.
