Course Description

Focus on experiences of diversity, equity, and inclusion for individuals, families, and organizations. Address both the business and moral imperatives related to diversity and inclusion. Topics include unconscious bias, privilege, constraint, differences between diversity and inclusion and their impact personally, in the workplace, culturally, and in our global society. Experiential learning opportunities will be used to help students become more aware, comfortable, and embrace differences in race, age, spiritual beliefs and practices, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, work and life status, ethnic origin, culture, employment level, physical and mental ability, and veteran status.
