Prestressed Concrete Design
Civil and Construction Engineering
Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering
Course Description
This course provides students with a basic understanding of the analysis and design of prestressed concrete members. Emphasis will be given to flexure and shear design of prestressed beams. Prestress losses, initial and long-term deflection, partial prestressing, transfer and development length, and statically indeterminate structures will be also covered.
